The Mobility Electronics (ME) division develops innovative electronic control units, sensors, and power electronic solutions in close collaboration with manufacturing. Within this environment, our organization focuses on the development and industrialization of robust and standardized surface technologies and power substrates for all kinds of products including the new trends of electrification and automation. Your tasks: ► Development of the latest surface treatment technologies to enable sustainable e-mobility solutions for leading automotive customers, e.g .:  laser cleaning, laser finishing, plasma treatment, laser deflash, or wet chemical cleaning . ► Managing the quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) targets of assigned project. ► Designing, setting up and evaluating experiments. ► Data-driven characterization and evaluation of surface treatment technologies using statistical analysis, data mining and AI-supported methods. ► Close collaboration with technology development teams responsible for related assembly and interconnection technologies. ► Work in cross-functional engineering teams, with product development teams and manufacturing engineers, both locally and internationally. ► Participating in supplier technical communications. ► Support problem solving for series production. ► Structured documentation and presentation of experimental results, conclusions and recommendations. ► Master’s degree in engineering or natural sciences, e.g. : mechatronics or mechanical engineering, physics, chemistry, electrical engineering, or comparable field. ► Good communication skills in English. ► Structured and detail-oriented working style. ► Self-motivated team player with strong desire for continuous learning. What gives you further advantages: ► Experience in surface treatment and/or surface characterization methods. ► Experience in assembly and interconnection technologies (AITs). ► Experience with Design of Experiments, statistical evaluation or structured problem-solving methods.
