Be part and lead our engineering team for the mechanical design of power electronics products, namely inverters & power modules, converters, charger converters, battery management systems.  As a Lead Designer, you will be the driving force behind the mechanical development of our power electronic products. In this key role, you will lead, inspire, and mentor a talented team of mechanical engineers, shaping our design vision from concept to execution. As the design authority , you will take full ownership of a diverse project portfolio, including platform, customer projects. Your work starts by translating complex requirements into robust design concepts, steering your team through 3D modelling and technical documentation with a focus on excellence. Collaborating closely with experts in systems, reliability, simulation, and HW design, you will actively shape our product architectures. Join our young, innovative, international team and take the lead in driving engineering innovation!  Your contribution to something big   Define, coordinate and harmonize platform solutions and architectures.  Leading acquisition and customer projects design teams and activities.  Coordinate serial product design changes defined by ROI or quality needs.  Realize variants and cost reductions.  Spearheading the resolution of supplier quality issues and customer claims.  Lead root cause analysis, risk estimation and implementation of corrective measures as owner of Problem Solving cases.  Review technical documentation (e.g. technical drawings, order specification), technical calculations (e.g. tolerance calculation incl. statistics, static calculation, thermal calculations).  Define simulation plans towards simulation colleagues.  Be the main contact partner towards internal partners: project, purchasing, production plant, simulation, reliability, hardware, technology.  Lead technical discussions with customers, suppliers and manufacturing plant. Representing the mechanical development domain.  Lead industrialization and release of components and the complete product.  Lead and release process development activities based on production experience.  Present design documentations towards project team and management.  Apply state-of-the art AI to unlock the full potential of our design workflows.  Design and automate engineering workflows: Conceptualize, develop, and test robust design tools and algorithms (e.g., for geometrical operations) to automate workflows and accelerate the development of innovative power electronic product designs.  Optimize, and support custom tools: Drive the tool's software efficiency, and usability based on user feedback, while providing ongoing application support to the design engineering community.  Mechanical engineering degree  Experience in leading/coordinating mechanical development as lead designer preferably at automotive segment  Reliable CAD knowledge (preferably Creo)  Ability to solve problems  Cross-functional system thinking with design automation mindset  Effective communication and confident presentation skills  Ability to work individually and in teams  Professional working proficiency in English (German is an advantage)
