As an eAxle Physical Analysis Team Leader , you will lead and develop a team of engineers, specialists and technicians responsible for physical analysis and failure investigation of eAxle systems and components. Combining people leadership with strong technical expertise, you will ensure high-quality analysis results, efficient resource management and close collaboration with international development, validation, quality and manufacturing teams. Your tasks: ► Leading, coaching and developing a team of physical analysis engineers, specialists and technicians, including competence development, capacity planning and workload management ► Coordinating physical analysis and failure investigation activities for eAxle systems, transmission assemblies and individual components across development, validation and series-related projects ► Leading structured root cause analyses and ensuring technically sound evaluation of abnormalities, wear patterns, malfunctions and failure mechanisms ► Correlating physical findings with test results, operating conditions, design data and simulation results to provide clear recommendations for engineering teams ► Planning and prioritizing analysis activities across multiple projects while ensuring quality, timing, traceability and efficient resource utilization ► Driving continuous improvement of analysis methods, workflows, laboratory processes and reporting standards ► Acting as the key interface towards project management, system engineering, validation, design, quality and manufacturing organizations ► Providing regular updates to project and business management regarding investigation status, critical findings, risks and resource planning ► Representing the Physical Analysis Team in project reviews, management discussions and technical decision-making forums ► Fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team ► University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or a comparable technical field ► Several years of experience in product development, testing, validation, physical analysis, failure investigation or quality engineering ► Previous experience in leading and developing engineers or technical specialists ► Strong technical understanding of eAxle, transmission, driveline or related powertrain systems ► Good knowledge of mechanical systems and components such as gears, bearings, shafts, lubrication and sealing systems ► Experience with root cause analysis, failure mechanisms and structured problem-solving methodologies ► Experience in coordinating technical activities within complex development projects ► Strong leadership mindset with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills ► Structured, analytical and solution-oriented working style with a high level of ownership and accountability ► Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken What gives you further advantages: ► Experience in eMobility, electrified powertrains or transmission development ► Knowledge of materials engineering, tribology, metrology or advanced failure analysis methods ► Experience in laboratory operations, test environments or engineering analysis facilities ► Knowledge of automotive development and quality methodologies such as V-model, FMEA, DRBFM or APQP ► Experience with statistical methods and data-driven decision-making ► German language skills
