·       Own the enterprise growth thesis. Define and continuously refresh the company-level answer to where growth comes from over the long range: which markets, which customer segments, which capabilities compound, and what has to be true for each. Own the underlying market work, including TAM and market structure, share and share-shift analysis, and the economics of each growth vector. ·       Partner closely on the inorganic agenda. Work with Corporate Development and Ventures to shape the acquisition and partnership theses behind priority adjacencies, contributing the market view and build/buy/partner logic that informs where we look and why. ·       Lead a small number of enterprise strategic initiatives end to end. Drive these initiatives to a decision, working directly with product, GTM, and finance leadership. ·       Drive the executive and Board strategy narrative. Author the strategic content for Board meetings and executive offsites. ·       15+ years of experience spanning top-tier strategy consulting, investment banking, or private equity and in-house corporate strategy at scale ·       Demonstrated ownership of enterprise-level strategy at a company of meaningful complexity, ideally $5B+ in revenue or a comparable multi-product portfolio ·       Deep fluency in enterprise software and subscription economics: ARR mechanics, net expansion, cohort behavior, platform versus point-solution dynamics, and how AI is reshaping all of them ·       A track record of building the case for a decision that was actually made, not just recommended ·       Experience contributing to acquisition theses alongside a corporate development function ·       Direct exposure to Board and CEO-level audiences, with writing and verbal communication to match ·       The ability to lead through influence across senior functional leaders who do not report to you ·       A demonstrated bias toward taking a position. We are hiring someone who will disagree with us productively. Preferred ·       Prior experience leading a corporate strategy function through a similar shift from functional to enterprise scope ·       Exposure to venture investing or corporate venture capital ·       Advanced degree in business, economics, or a quantitative field   For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $263,900 - $448,600 , plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
