Industry Sector Manager

As an Industry Sector Manager, you will be responsible for developing Hägglunds' business within one or more industrial sectors on a global scale. The role serves as an important link between the market, customers, and our sales organizations around the world. Through your understanding of industrial applications, market trends, and customer needs, you will help identify new business opportunities and strengthen Hägglunds’ position in the market. Your main responsibilities include: Developing and implementing market strategies for your industry sector Identifying new business opportunities and contributing to the development of application and business solutions Supporting our global sales units with market and application expertise Participating in customer meetings and supporting sales activities together with local sales organizations Coordinating activities and collaborating with sales, engineering, and marketing functions internationally Your primary workplace will be at our headquarters in Mellansel, Sweden. The role involves approximately 60–70 travel days per year and offers the opportunity to build long-term relationships with customers and colleagues across the globe. To succeed in this role, you combine a commercial mindset with a solid technical understanding. You enjoy working in an international environment, build trust easily, and thrive on developing strong relationships with customers and colleagues. The role requires the ability to work both strategically and operationally, translating market needs into tangible business opportunities. We are looking for someone who has: A university degree in engineering, business, or another relevant field Experience in sales, business development, or other customer- and business-oriented roles within industry A good understanding of industrial business and market-driven business development Strong technical understanding and the ability to quickly gain insight into technical applications and solutions Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English, written and spoken It is considered a strong advantage if you have experience in international business, market strategy, or working with industrial applications and technical solutions.
