Engineer ED & BOM

We are requesting the conversion of this position from a PS (purchased services) employee to a Ford Base employee, given that this role functions as a centralized, cross-functional engineering support position supporting Ford's vehicle program lifecycle through integration, change control, and Bill of Materials (BOM) management. It serves as a bridge between Design Release (DR) Engineers, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Finance, and Supplier teams — ensuring engineering changes are technically validated, properly sequenced, and governed through formal change management processes, while also maintaining BOM data integrity, CAD-to-BOM alignment, and accurate Configured Digital Vehicle (CDV) reporting. By taking on this work, the role reduces administrative burden on DR Engineers so they can focus on core design responsibilities, while protecting program timing, cost, and system compatibility
