The Opportunity Bridgeway is Adobe's agentic marketing partner for small businesses and solopreneurs — photographers, estheticians, fitness coaches, bakers, contractors — the people running a business with no marketing team behind them. We're building software that acts like a great marketing hire, not another tool to learn. We're looking for a design engineer who lives at the intersection of design and code. Bridgeway runs like a startup — a small, talent-dense team bringing startup speed inside Adobe, with Adobe's platform and reach behind it. If you want early-stage pace and ownership plus enterprise-scale resources, this is that combination. Work directly with product and engineering to prototype, build, and ship the experiences that make Bridgeway feel like a partner. Our engineers already build with AI-native workflows, and we want design at that same clock speed — motivated by generating options, not just refining one, so “which direction” becomes today's conversation instead of next week's. What great looks like We look for builders who have shipped — people who've launched something real and are proud of the outcome — more than a specific title or pedigree. Everyone here operates across three lenses: product, design, and engineering. That means real design sense, production-quality code, and product-manager-level reasoning, without outsourcing any of it. What sets people apart isn't which of the three they can do — it's which one they lead with. Taste and judgment sharp enough to orchestrate AI-assisted prototyping at high speed while holding a bar most teams miss even working slowly. Ownership breadth Own a design surface end to end: concept, prototype, production code, and the system it plugs into. Systems - Can you build a design system and prototyping workflow that compounds — so every new prototype starts stronger than the last? 2. Review - Can you judge quality at an unreasonably high bar — spotting the two options worth building out of a wall of AI-generated ones, and saying why? What is needed to succeed Comfortable in Figma and a code editor — and increasingly reach for the code editor first Strong front-end skills (React, TypeScript, CSS, animation) Strong sense of build — an understanding of craft, hierarchy, restraint — and can explain why something works Naturally explore multiple directions before converging, and you'd rather show than describe Prototype in hours, not days, using AI tools without cutting corners on quality A bias toward simplicity and love designing for real people — SMB owners, not power users Think in systems and build reusable components, not one-off screens Genuinely excited about AI agents and new interaction par
