Overview: The Security Solutions Organization team is responsible for Mastercard’s safety and security related products which protect the integrity of the electronic payment system, while ensuring payments are convenient yet secure. The products are primarily focused on authentication, fraud prevention, risk mitigation and dispute resolution across all payment channels as well as all stakeholders; issuers, acquirers, merchants, processors and consumers. Working as a key member of the Security Solutions Finance team within the Mastercard Services business unit there is now an opportunity for an enthusiastic and well-motivated finance professional to join the team as a key business partner! At MasterCard the Security Solutions (SSO) finance team: • Partners with business unit divisions to help achieve financial targets and objectives through thought leadership. • Supports product owners by investigating, reporting on, and mitigating any variance in revenue and expenses. • Provides business unit support for financial reporting, planning and analysis. The Role: The Manager will be responsible for: • Partnering with the individuals across the Enablement, Fraud and Payment Resiliency businesses on a variety of tasks. • Support various financial business cases, models, and standard templates ensuring quality, accuracy and focused analytic review • Budgeting and forecasting short/long-term plans, as well as preparing and analyzing internal financial reports and communicating results to the product owners of the division • Assist the teams to identify Revenue opportunities and monitor Expenses related to the financial plan. • Prepares monthly reporting and analysis of financial results and communicates to divisional management. • Demonstrate appropriate understanding / working knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls and apply them. • Prepare ad-hoc reporting and analysis demonstrating insightful use of financial analysis techniques, tools, and concepts, to provide practical counsel to divisional partners and management to drive business results • Proactively research and resolve financial inquiries and issues for Security Solutions (SSO) division • Performs the annual target and budget process by issuing guidelines, analyzing performance, producing key management reporting, consolidating information and tracking changes All About You: The ideal candidate for this position should have: • Bachelor’s degree with a major in Business, Finance, or Accounting is preferred • Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship management skills, with ability to partner with and influence others. • Prior experience in Business Partnering, Financial Planning & Analysis, or related Finance field. •
