Forma represents a fundamental shift: from files to granular data, from silos to hyper collaboration, and from traditional BIM to outcome-driven workflows powered by AI. It brings together people, processes, and intelligence across the architecture, engineering, construction, and operations (AECO) ecosystem to help the industry work smarter, faster, and more sustainably. We are seeking a Director, Forma Design Industry Strategy to define the st rategy and go-to-market direction for Autodesk’s Forma design applicati ons . Today , this portfolio includes Forma Site Design and Forma Building Design, with a long-term vision to expand across additional industries, workf lows, and phases of the built environment life cycle. This role calls for a strong strategic thinker who can also roll up their sleeves. You will draw on both qualitative and quantitative data to capture insights and translate them into a clear point of view on where the Forma design applications should go and why. You will lead a talented strategy team that is still early in its journey, and act as a trusted partner to product, sales, marketing, customer success, and industry leadership. A core part of this role is being a strong evangelist for the Forma Industry Cloud and the Forma design applications , both inside Autodesk and externally with customers, partners, and the wider industry. You will work closely with the Forma D esign product organization to ensure the strategy is grounded in customer outcomes , market opportunities and product direction . You will also bring a broad skill set and proven experience managing senior stakeholders across many teams. Because the work spans regions, this role must be able to support both European and US time zones. Responsibilities Strategy & Analysis Define the strategy and go-to-market direction for Autodesk's Forma d esign a pplications portfolio, identifying where we invest, differentiate, and grow. Leverage qualitative and quantitative data, along with AI and the tools available, to turn customer, market, competitive, and product signals into a clear point of view. Guide decisions on pricing, packaging, portfolio clarity, and adoption, so customers understand how Forma design delivers value across planning, design, and delivery. Build the frameworks, briefs, and recommendations that help leadership make confident decisions Evangelism & Advocacy Serve as a strategic evangelist for the Forma Industry Cloud and Forma d esign a pplications, building awareness, alignment, and momentum across Autodesk. Represent Forma externally with customers, partners, and at industry events, building confidence in its direction. Capture and share customer stories and outcomes to demonstrate the platform's value and inspire adoption. Engage directly with customers and partners to test our approach and bring their feedback back into the organization. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with the Forma design product team to shape the product roadmap, bringing market, competitive, and customer insight into the discussion. Work with Autodesk's global strategy team to connect Forma design's strategy to the company's broader Industry Cloud vision and portfolio. Align senior stakeholders across product, sales, marketing, customer success, and industry leadership on Forma's positioning, priorities, and execution. Establish a clear operating rhythm so strategy, messaging, and field execution stay connected. Minimum Qualifications 10+ years across strategy, go-to-market, product, or management consulting, including significant time in or close to the AEC industry.
