Project Scope The intern will be given the opportunity to: Understand Micron's particle contamination control strategy and cleanroom quality requirements. Learn the functionality and application of real-time particle monitoring systems. Coordinate with vendors, Facilities, Quality Engineering (QE), and manufacturing stakeholders to support system installation and deployment. Assist in project planning, tracking, and execution activities. Investigate and resolve implementation issues encountered during the project. Support system verification and performance monitoring after deployment. Learning Opportunities The intern will have the opportunity to: Gain practical experience in manufacturing data analytics and equipment reliability engineering. Apply data preparation, trend analysis, anomaly detection, and machine learning techniques. Learn to develop equipment health indicators and evaluate their effectiveness. Explore AI-Enabled Agents and natural language capabilities for engineering analytics. Strengthen technical documentation, visualization, problem-solving, and presentation skills. Deliverables The intern is expected to deliver: Successfully deploy and commission a real-time particle monitoring system in a designated cleanroom manufacturing area. Document project progress, implementation results, and key lessons learned. Provide recommendations for future expansion or optimization opportunities. Skillsets Required The ideal candidate should possess: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Effective collaboration and teamwork Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities Basic project management skills Ability to work with cross-functional teams Course of Interest The ideal candidate should be pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Material Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Duration of Period The ideal candidate should be able to commit to a full time internship period of at least 5 months.
