In this role, you will identify critical production challenges and develop cutting-edge vision solutions that deliver measurable impact directly on the factory floor. Your contribution to something big Identify key business and production challenges and solve them by applying the most effective machine learning and computer vision methods. Design, develop and deploy state-of-the-art computer vision models for industrial applications, including automated quality inspection, robotic guidance and process monitoring. Work on vision tasks such as anomaly detection, semantic segmentation and image classification. Architect robust, production-ready AI solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing tools and systems. Develop scalable data pipelines capable of processing real-time industrial image and sensor data. Deploy, monitor and continuously improve your solutions in live production environments, ensuring high performance, reliability and sustainable business impact. Collaborate closely with ML engineers, business stakeholders, and on-site hardware and software experts to deliver robust end-to-end vision systems. Work as part of a global team of AI, optical and machine vision experts, contributing to knowledge exchange, best practices and standardization across international locations. Support the deployment, scaling and continuous improvement of advanced vision solutions across manufacturing sites worldwide. Act as a global technical expert for industrial vision applications, providing guidance, best practices and support to international project teams. Act as the team's AI expert by scouting emerging technologies and driving the adoption of state-of-the-art AI and machine learning methods. Education: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical field. Experience & Know-how: Proven experience in machine learning model development and optimization, ideally with a strong focus on industrial computer vision. Hands-on experience applying image processing and computer vision in industrial, manufacturing or robotics environments. Strong knowledge of Deep Learning and experience developing vision models for applications such as anomaly detection, semantic segmentation and classification. Strong programming skills in Python and experience with relevant libraries and frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, NumPy, Pandas, OpenCV and MLflow. Solid understanding of system architecture and experience building scalable data pipelines capable of handling large volumes of industrial data. Experience with code versioning tools such as Git. Familiarity with industrial vision hardware and software is a strong plus, particularly smart cameras and MVTec products such as HALCON or MERLIC. Languages: Proficient in English.
