As a Category Sourcing Manager (CSM) / Buyer, you will serve as a key point of contact for supplier engagement, category management, and strategic sourcing activities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and leverage digital and AI-enabled tools to drive data-driven decision-making, enhance supplier performance, and create business value. In this role, you will: Partner with internal stakeholders and suppliers to build a comprehensive understanding of supplier performance and support long-term sourcing success. Utilize analytics, digital solutions, and emerging AI technologies to identify opportunities, improve efficiencies, and support informed procurement decisions. Participate in and lead sourcing initiatives focused on cost optimization, supply base enhancement, and contract negotiation. Support the development and execution of category strategies aligned with business objectives and Micron's strategic priorities. Responsibilities Strategic Supplier Management & Business Partnership Lead supplier performance management and strategic supplier relationships for assigned categories, ensuring alignment with Micron's business objectives, operational requirements, and long-term growth plans. Serve as the primary point of contact between Micron and suppliers, fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders including Facilities, Engineering, Finance, Operations, and Global Procurement teams to support business priorities and sourcing initiatives. Category Sourcing & Procurement Excellence Own and execute end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities for assigned categories, including supplier selection, RFx processes, contract negotiations, and supplier performance reviews. Support the development and execution of category strategies that drive cost competitiveness, supply continuity, risk mitigation, and operational excellence. Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, service agreements, and contracts to achieve the best value for Micron while maintaining strong supplier partnerships. AI-Driven Analytics & Digital Transformation Leverage data analytics, digital tools, and emerging AI technologies to generate sourcing insights, improve decision making, and enhance procurement efficiency.
