The requirement is for a specialized domain expert combining embedded software, BMS/electrification, automotive diagnostics and communication, functional safety, cybersecurity, and model-based/HIL development expertise. While individual skills may be available in the Mexico market, finding a candidate with the required combination of domain depth, hands-on product experience, and Bosch-relevant technical expertise is expected to be challenging. Therefore, the proposed India-to-Mexico deployment is intended to address a specialized capability gap while simultaneously transferring knowledge and building sustainable local expertise. Strongly Preferred: Candidates with experience in Battery Management Systems (BMS), Functional Safety (ISO 26262), AUTOSAR architecture, High-Voltage Electrification Systems, and Model-Based Development will be highly regarded. Highly Preferred Qualifications •Experience with Battery Management Systems (BMS) for lithium-ion battery-powered products, electrified equipment, EVs, or energy storage systems. •Familiarity with battery algorithms including State of Charge (SOC), State of Health (SOH), battery diagnostics, thermal monitoring, and cell balancing concepts. •Experience with high-voltage battery systems (48V+) and battery communication networks. •Exposure to AUTOSAR, ISO 26262 Functional Safety, and/or ISO 21434 Cybersecurity standards. •Experience with MATLAB/Simulink and model-based software development. •Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing platforms and Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape). •Experience with advanced communication protocols including CAN FD, UDS Diagnostics, J1939, and Automotive Ethernet. •Experience with automotive-grade microcontrollers such as Infineon AURIX, NXP S32, Renesas RH850, or TI Hercules. •Experience with cloud-connected, electrified, autonomous, or intelligent Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in embedded software development, embedded systems, or software product support.
