TARIFF/CUSTOMS CLASSIFICATION SPECIALIST (f/m)

If so, we have a fantastic role for you! 🌎 Your Role: As a Tariff/Customs Classification Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring BOSCH Group’s compliance with international trade regulations. Your expertise will help us navigate classification of goods for foreign trade purposes. 🚀 Your Impact: ✔ Perform tariff/customs classification of BOSCH product portfolio according to numerous national tariff schemes as a leading task and export control classification (if needed). ✔ Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and international stakeholder to gather necessary technical information and documentation for accurate classification. ✔ Work with a global team and Foreign Trade functions in entities in multiple countries therefore fluent communication in English is expected. ✔ Stay ahead of the game by keeping up with evolving foreign trade regulations, in particular on tariff/customs classification in many jurisdictions. 🛠 What You Bring: ✅ Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as international trade, business or engineering. ✅ 1–3 years of experience in trade compliance or product engineering. ✅ Strong understanding and proven experience in tariff/customs classification. ✅ Ability to interpret technical documents and drawings. ✅ Experience in export control classification will be a big asset. ✅ Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail. ✅ Advanced English proficiency (German is a plus!). ✅ Experience with ERP systems (SAP, GTS or MIC) is a bonus. ✅ Great communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
