As a NCG Design Readiness Engineer within Micron's DRAM Engineering Group, you will help prepare new DRAM designs for successful validation, production readiness, and high-volume manufacturing. This role sits at the intersection of design, validation, product engineering, product architecture, system compatibility, and silicon strategy. You will engage early in the product development lifecycle, identify risk areas before silicon arrives, support validation planning, and collaborate across teams to debug silicon findings and drive timely resolution. Responsibilities Collaborate with design, validation, product engineering, and architecture teams to support DRAM product readiness throughout the development lifecycle. Identify potential technical risks and validation challenges before silicon availability and drive mitigation planning. Support validation strategy development, test planning, and readiness activities for new DRAM products. Analyze silicon behavior and validation results to identify root causes of product issues. Partner with cross-functional teams to debug silicon findings and drive timely issue resolution. Contribute to system compatibility assessments and product readiness evaluations. Support production readiness and high-volume manufacturing preparation activities. Communicate technical findings, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders across engineering teams. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, no more than 2 years of graduated. Strong foundation in digital design, semiconductor fundamentals, or memory technologies. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex technical issues. Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate across diverse technical teams. Willingness to learn new technologies and develop technical expertise in DRAM products and validation methodologies. Preferred Qualifications Experience with semiconductor product development, validation, or silicon bring-up activities. Knowledge of DRAM architecture, memory systems, or semiconductor manufacturing processes. Experience working in cross-functional engineering environments involving design, validation, and product engineering teams. Familiarity with data analysis, scripting, or automation tools used for engineering workflows. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while driving technical issues to resolution.
