Location Singapore Department Front End Capital Procurement Operations Project Title AI-Enabled Supplier Performance Analytics and Procurement Process Transformation Project Description This internship project focuses on developing data-driven and AI-Enabled solutions to improve supplier performance visibility, procurement analytics, and process efficiency within Front End Capital Procurement Operations. The intern will undertake a structured project involving supplier performance analysis, capital equipment delivery tracking, procurement dashboard development, and workflow optimization. The intern will also explore how Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, AI Assistants, and Agentic AI can improve data analysis, reporting, knowledge retrieval, and decision-making. Objective of the Project Develop an analytical framework that improves visibility into supplier performance, capital equipment delivery, and procurement activities. Apply data analytics and AI-Enabled methodologies to identify supply risks, operational trends, and improvement opportunities. Evaluate procurement workflows and recommend opportunities for process simplification, standardization, and automation. Create scalable reporting and decision-support solutions that improve procurement efficiency and stakeholder communication. Project Scope Supplier Relationship Management Analyze supplier performance metrics, equipment delivery commitments, business review information, and relevant operational trends. Develop structured methods to track supplier performance and identify potential delivery or supply risks. Participate in selected supplier engagements and Quarterly Business Reviews to learn how performance expectations and continuous improvement priorities are communicated. Collaborate with procurement, engineering, operations, and supplier stakeholders to validate analytical findings and improvement opportunities. Procurement Systems and Analytics Develop or enhance procurement dashboards, tracking tools, and data visualization solutions using Power BI, Excel, or similar platforms. Integrate relevant procurement and supply chain information to improve equipment delivery and supplier performance visibility. Explore Artificial Intelligence and Agentic AI applications for procurement data management, insight generation, and decision support. Establish appropriate documentation and data validation methods to improve the usability and reliability of the solution. Data Analysis and Insights Analyze procurement and supply chain datasets to identify trends, risks, performance gaps, and optimization opportunities. Apply suitable statistical and data visualization techniques to translate complex information into actionable business insights. Explore Generative AI and AI Assistant capabilities for data interpretation, report preparation, and knowledge retrieval. Process Excellence Map selected procurement workflows and identify opportunities for simplification, standardization, or automation. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand process requirements and validate proposed improvements.
