This team designs and develops features that cater to both Customer facing needs and internal stakeholders, playing a pivotal role in evolving Druva's architecture, as the company scales further.&nbsp;Key focus areas for the Platform Organization include Druva Cloud Platform, Product-Led Growth (PLG), Ecosystem &amp; Integrations, Licensing and Agentic AI platform&nbsp; .&nbsp;By tackling these critical domains, the team ensures Druva’s platform remains robust, scalable, and ready for the future.</p> <p>About Role :<br>As a Senior Staff Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation and&nbsp;maintenance of software modules owned by a team. Your primary focus will be on the development&nbsp;of all backend server-side components and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to&nbsp;requests from the front end. You will guide and mentor junior team members by reviewing their&nbsp;code and designs to ensure that they are writing well-designed and high-quality code. This role&nbsp;requires excellent communication skills as you will need to collaborate across teams.</p> <p><strong></strong></p> <h4>Key Skills</h4> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>6+ years of experience, preferably in a product company.</li> <li>Extensive hands-on experience in Go/Python/C++/Java on Unix/Linux or Windows platform.</li> <li>Excellent programming skills along with Data Structures, Algorithms, and Design Concepts.</li> <li>Strong experience in working with SoA (Service-Oriented Architecture).</li> <li>Hands-on experience with GenAI-based development with extensive prompts and preferably spec-based development (Cursor/Gemini). Note that just using vibe coding or peripheral AI chat doesn't.</li> <li>Experience in working with Microservices.</li> <li>Experience in Cloud Technologies (preferably AWS).</li> <li>Experience with third-party API integrations at scale (preferred).</li> </ul> <h4>Desirable Skills</h4> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Familiar with Agile methodologies like Scrum, etc.</li> <li>Knowledge of the SaaS or Backup domain will be an advantage.</li> <li>Working knowledge of Dockers and Kubernetes will be an advantage.</li> </ul> <h4>Role and Responsibilities</h4> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>The Engineer's role is to be the technical leader in building enterprise-grade, scalable, performant systems which deliver the required functionality to the customer's delight.</li> <li>Should be able to design and implement sufficiently large and complex features and/or architectural improvements to the product.</li> <li>Suggest and propose solutions to complex design problems.</li> <li>Identify areas of engineering improvements to the product and work with product architects and the team to address them.</l
