As a Senior Staff Software Engineer - Escalations, you will be responsible for fixing product bugs and delivering code changes to the Production part of product reliability, resiliency, stability & sustenance for all Druva SaaS Customers. This role will require excellent communication skills as you will collaborate with Product Management, CloudOps, Development & Customer-Facing Teams to refine requirements, product architects to propose architectural changes, and other product owners to drive features for usability/supportability/quality.  Key Skills: <ul> <li>6 -9 years of experience in a combination of Development and Sustenance roles.</li> <li>Extensive hands-on experience in Go/Python on Unix/Linux or Windows platform.</li> <li>Excellent programming skills along with Data structures, Algorithms, and Design Concepts.</li> <li>Strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to articulate and present technical solutions.</li> <li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to develop and maintain working relationships at all levels, both with customers and internal stakeholders.</li> <li>Experience in enterprise software, deep knowledge of software development including threading, network, and disk IO, data transformations, data integrity, systems management, systems administration, and monitoring.</li> </ul> Desirable Skills: <ul> <li>Exposure to specific technologies around Office 365/VMWare/HyperV/Nutanix/FS/NAS</li> <li>6+ years of software development experience in Python/Golang</li> <li>Experience in the development of complex, scale-out, distributed systems based on Service Oriented Architecture/Micro services</li> <li>Experience in Cloud Technologies (preferably AWS)</li> <li>Knowledge of the Backup or Storage domain will be an advantage. </li> </ul> Role and Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Suggest and propose solutions to complex design problems for respective technology/workload.</li> <li>Fix Product Bugs and deliver code changes to Production.</li> <li>Work closely with the Sales/Tech Support/Customer Success/Professional Services team assisting them on their POCs and Implementation Projects. </li> <li>Own and drive the Cloud Production issues for investigation and RCA, delivering a solution and working with the extended development teams.</li> <li>Drive validation of future releases in a staging environment for customer use cases, a gatekeeper for product release and quality assurance.</li> <li>Partner with respective scrum teams and Product Management for feature design & product improvements.</li> <li>Ensure communication flows well cross-functionally for product updates and known issues.</li> </ul> Qualification B.Tech
