Title and Summary Director, Authentication Product Management, Specialist Sales Overview The Mastercard Authentication Program owns how consumer authentication works across both in-store and e-commerce transactional use cases. The primary purpose of this role is to commercialize, manage, and deliver best-in-class authentication products for e-commerce transactional use cases that drive product adoption, market penetration, and revenue growth for Mastercard. Products within the scope of this role include: - Mastercard Identity Check - Mastercard Token Authentication Framework - Mastercard Token Authentication Service - Card lifecycle management products, including Automatic Billing Updater As Director, Product Management, Authentication, Australasia Division, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of e-commerce authentication and card lifecycle management solutions across the region. The Role The successful candidate will establish and maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders while actively supporting the acceleration of Authentication and Card Lifecycle Management solutions across the Australasia division. You will identify new opportunities, assess product performance, and contribute to the development of long-term strategic plans for Mastercard's authentication and lifecycle management product portfolio. You will be responsible for identifying unique selling propositions (USPs), developing product solutions in partnership with global, regional, and market stakeholders, prioritizing features and functionality required by local markets, and creating go-to-market strategies that support product growth and customer adoption. Key Responsibilities Market Research & Industry Insights - Proactively gather knowledge, data, and market intelligence through engagement with clients and Mastercard stakeholders. - Conduct both primary and secondary research to determine market size, customer requirements, and competitive dynamics. - Generate insights that directly inform product development, commercialization, and marketing strategies. Product Definition - Define and finalize products in collaboration with Legal, Privacy, Franchise, and Pricing teams. - Ensure products meet customer needs, market requirements, and relevant regulatory obligations. - Support successful product launches through strong cross-functional collaboration. Product Feature Planning - Define the delivery strategy for acceptance and issuing-facing products. - Partner with Product Management teams to prioritize features, functionality, and delivery timelines. - Ensure the right capabilities are delivered to market in the most effective sequence. Sales Enablement & Market Activation - Partner with Commercialization and Regional teams to develop and validate go-to-market materials. - Create compelling product positioning and messaging that differentiates Mastercard in the marketplace. - Drive market awareness, customer engagement, and product adoption. Customer Engagement - Collaborate with Sales and Regional teams to build and maintain strong relationships with prospects, customers, and industry stakeholders. - Gather ongoing customer feedback to inform product strategy and future enhancements. - Act as a trusted advisor for customers and ecosystem partners.
