Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all . Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever. The DASG Architecture Lab and Customer Enablement Lab (CEL) teams provide the infrastructure, platforms, and technical expertise required to accelerate technology pathfinding, AI and system workload analysis, memory subsystem characterization, FPGA/LPDRAM prototyping, and customer enablement initiatives. These teams play a critical role in enabling architecture exploration, validation, and teamwork across engineering organizations and external partners. AI Efficiency and Usage is a must. AI proficiency or AI‑enabled ways of working where applicable. Agentic AI and Generative AI usage model is a must. Responsibilities Own the day-to-day bring-up, readiness, maintenance, and operational support of lab systems, racks, benches, test equipment, and reference platforms used by DASG Architecture Lab and Customer Enablement Lab teams. Deploy, configure, and maintain server, GPU, FPGA, client AI, mobile AI, analyzer, and environmental test equipment supporting workload characterization and technology pathfinding activities. Build and maintain stable, reproducible validation environments, including BIOS, BMC, firmware, operating systems, drivers, networking, remote access, and power and thermal configurations. Collaborate with architecture and validation teams to enable memory trace capture, workload analysis, DRAM replay, power and performance characterization, and data-driven engineering decisions. Develop and maintain operational processes for asset tracking, configuration management, equipment allocation, calibration monitoring, addressing customer concerns, and lab readiness. Create automation solutions using Python, shell scripting, or similar technologies to improve lab setup, health monitoring, regression execution, result collection, and reporting. Diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues across hardware, firmware, software, networking, power, thermal, and equipment-control domains while partnering with global engineering teams. Support customer and partner enablement activities through system preparation, configuration optimization, debug support, and performance characterization while promoting safety, quality, and operational excellence. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. 5+ years of experience in server architecture, system-level validation, platform bring-up, hardware/software debug, or engineering lab infrastructure operations. Demonstrated ability configuring and maintaining validation platforms, test equipment, protocol analyzers, power analyzers, oscilloscopes, environmental chambers, or similar laboratory assets. Proven experience developing automation solutions using Python, Shell, or similar scripting languages. Experience with BIOS, BMC, firmware, operating systems, device drivers, networking, storage, power delivery, and thermal management concepts in lab environments. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Experience working with DRAM, LPDDR, HBM, CXL, memory subsystem architecture, or memory validation workflows. 2+ years of experience supporting AI, machine learning, HPC workloads, GPU platforms, or performance characterization activities. Experience with CUDA, ROCm, DRAMSim3, Ramulator2, trace capture/replay methodologies, or related modeling and analysis tools. Experience supporting FPGA platforms, hardware prototyping environments, protocol debugging, multi-site laboratory operations, or equipment lifecycle management.
