Title and Summary Senior Software Integration Engineer Overview The SME team is looking for a Senior Software Integration Engineer who can contribute independently in complex situations while supporting quality, engineering, and delivery goals. This role requires strong experience in agile work management, integration testing, quality assurance, requirements management, SDLC practices, systems integration, troubleshooting, web services, workflow management, and test automation. The ideal candidate will plan, prioritize, and manage work using agile practices to enable iterative delivery, collaboration, adaptability, and continuous improvement. They will partner with developers and engineering teams to review source code, identify issues, improve quality, and promote maintainability and coding standards. This position is responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining tests that validate interactions across integrated components, systems, services, APIs, data flows, interfaces, and dependencies. The candidate will help establish and maintain QA processes and standards that prevent defects, optimize performance, improve customer satisfaction, and support compliance. The role also requires strong understanding of requirements management, SDLC, systems integration, web services, troubleshooting, and workflow management. The candidate should be a key contributor who can guide others informally and help teams deliver reliable, maintainable solutions. Role In this role, you will: • Perform QE activities across assigned projects, including test planning, strategy, validation, automation, and release readiness. • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to enhance testing processes and strengthen quality practices. • Contribute to SME QE teams focused on test validation and automation within assigned projects. • Design, execute, and maintain integration tests to validate interactions between systems, services, APIs, data flows, interfaces, and dependencies. • Establish and maintain QA processes and standards that prevent defects, improve quality, optimize performance, and support customer expectations. • Apply agile work management practices to plan, prioritize, and manage work effectively in iterative delivery environments. • Partner with product owners, developers, and delivery teams to review requirements, clarify acceptance criteria, manage changes, identify risks, and ensure testability throughout the SDLC. • Support SDLC activities including requirements, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance to ensure solutions remain high quality and maintainable. • Contribute to systems integration by validating communication, interoperability, and reliability across diverse technologies, processes, applications, and services. • Implement and support UI, API, backend, and integration automation using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, and API automation frameworks. • Support API performance testing and performance validation using tools such as Gatling and BlazeMeter. • Troubleshoot complex issues across systems, applications, services, integrations, test environments, and networks using structured methods and tools. • Evaluate source code written by developers to identify and address potential issues, support maintainability, improve quality, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. • Analyze workflows, identify bottlenecks, streamline procedures, monitor progress, allocate resources, and a
