ETL Software Engineer | Data Mexico City | Hybrid About the role We're looking for an ETL Engineer to build and maintain data integration pipelines that keep our analytics and reporting systems accurate and reliable. You'll work closely with data analysts, platform teams, and business stakeholders to develop ETL mappings, troubleshoot pipeline issues, and support the systems that move data between Salesforce, Snowflake, and other enterprise sources. You will also utilize your technical knowledge to build integrations using Informatica and Mulesolft products. Responsibilities Tools & Technologies: Informatica/IICS, MuleSoft, Snowflake, Airflow, Python (Pandas, NumPy, PySpark), Salesforce Data Cloud, Tableau, GitHub Design, build, and maintain ETL mappings and workflows using Informatica/IICS to move and transform data across source and target systems Develop and support Python-based ETL scripts (Pandas, NumPy, PySpark) for custom data transformation and automation needs Monitor and troubleshoot scheduled data pipeline jobs (e.g., Airflow DAGs), diagnosing failures and coordinating fixes with platform/infrastructure teams Manage and validate API user connections and credentials across environments (DEV, QA, STG, PRD) for integrated systems Create and maintain Snowflake database objects, roles, and access requests (RBAC) needed to support pipeline read/write operations Perform data quality checks — validating, tagging, and reconciling records (e.g., flagging "VALID"/"INVALID" status) across source systems Submit and shepherd change requests and deployment pull requests through DEV → QA → STG → PRD promotion, coordinating approvals with release/support teams Partner with business and analytics stakeholders to resolve data mapping discrepancies and ensure clean handoffs Maintain clear documentation of ETL jobs, connections, and operational runbooks for team knowledge continuity Respond to and resolve production support tickets related to ETL job failures, connection issues, or data discrepancies Required Qualifications 3–5 years of experience in ETL development or data engineering Hands-on experience with an ETL/integration tool (MuleSoft, Informatica/IICS strongly preferred) Working knowledge of SQL and a scripting language such as Python for data transformation Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow) for monitoring scheduled jobs Understanding of environment promotion practices (DEV/QA/STG/PRD) and basic version control (GitHub) Strong troubleshooting skills and comfort working directly with cross-functional platform/support teams Clear written communication for documenting issues, requesting approvals, and coordinating across teams Experience deploying changes via CI/CD deployment pipelines Preferred Qualifications Salesforce ecosystem: Experience supporting Salesforce-adjacent data environments MuleSoft integration experience preferred Salesforce Data Cloud experience preferred Analytics: Tableau development and visualization experience desired Process: Exposure to change management processes (e.g., formal change request/approv
