Salesforce Technical Consultants deliver solutions that transform our customers’ businesses and their customers’ experiences. In the Life Sciences vertical, this role involves partnering with project teams and client stakeholders to discover, design, code, and deploy specialized Salesforce Platform and Industry solutions (including Life Sciences Cloud and Health Cloud) tailored for pharmaceutical, biotech, medtech, and healthcare organizations. Approximately 70–75% of this role involves hands-on programming and system integration using Apex, JavaScript, Lightning Web Components (LWC), OmniStudio, and REST/SOAP APIs, while ensuring compliance with stringent regulatory standards. The ideal technical consultant is a demonstrated practitioner and emerging thought leader who bridges deep Salesforce development capabilities with domain understanding of regulated industries. You will evaluate implementation options, build scalable architectures, guide client technical teams, proactively manage risk areas, and commit to seeing complex engineering challenges through to resolution. YOUR IMPACT: Responsibilities Hands-on Development & Customization: Code enterprise-grade solutions using Salesforce Apex, JavaScript, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and modern web frameworks integrated with middleware and core Life Sciences backend systems. Domain & Regulatory Solutioning: Implement Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud, Health Cloud, and OmniStudio features that comply with strict industry regulatory and security frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, GxP, PHI). AI-First Workflow Execution: Champion an AI-first development workflow by leveraging advanced AI developer tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate custom Apex, LWC, and integration delivery while maintaining platform governor limits and security compliance. Architecture & Data Modeling: Define and build secure, scalable data models (1:M, M:M relationships), sharing rules, security models, and object structures optimized for Life Sciences and Healthcare workflows. Integrations & Interoperability: Build, optimize, and document API-based integrations connecting Salesforce to enterprise platforms, EHR/EMR systems, and middleware standard tools (utilizing HL7/FHIR standards where applicable). Technical Leadership & Workshops: Facilitate functional and technical workshops, review user stories, map end-to-end user journeys, and apply modern Apex and UI design patterns to solve complex business requirements.
